Our role model

A new Trainee!

As of August 2013, our team has a new trainee with four legs. Daika Akai von Danuwa will grow into her tasks gradually. The recreation and fun part is already filled completely by her personality.

For your information: Dore Fleck von Groß Steinum and Daika Akai von Danuwa are Belgian Shepherds (Variety "Tervuren").

Visit Daika on her Webpage (www.tervueren.dog) or on Facebook.

An important team member

Our four-legged co-worker is responsible for the "Security" and "Recreation" departments. She only accepts her salary payments in kind. Being an absolutely loyal employee, any headhunting attempts are doomed to failure! However, small bonuses strengthen friendship.

Work like your dog!

At the same time, Dore was and Daika is the proverbial knot in the handkerchief for the motto "Work like your dog" taken from the book of the same name by Matt Weinstein and Luke Barber.

"Working like a dog" is a way of saying that people should take a leaf out of the book on how dogs approach "their work": with pleasure, energy, enthusiasm and passion, coupled with an insatiable curiosity about everything they experience during and through their work. We make a point of putting this motto into practice and tackling new tasks in a playful manner and with intense interest. Thus, a problem becomes a new opportunity for us to find an innovative solution using our creativity!

Addendum

Since 4 May 2013, Dore is no longer with us. She fell peacefully asleep surrounded by her human kennel-mates. For 16 years, in her very special way, she taught us a lot and supported our work with all her enthusiasm and complete devotion - to the very last. We are sure that she will continue to watch over us and her work, even if she cannot be present personally.
